I have been very fortunate to have been accepted at my #2 so far; however, my #1 still remains head and shoulders above them all and so I want to do everything I possibly can without stepping on toes or annoying someone.

With that said Ive been waitlisted at the #1. Stats are well within averages for both acceptances and matriculants according to MSAR. I was the first interview group at this school. Since then, I have sent a letter of intent and then an update about 3 publications I had since interviewing at their school. I have 3 more publications (all either 1st/2nd authorship) currently in revision and should be accepted in the coming days.

1. Once these are updated to “published” would it be redundant/annoying to send another update to the school with this info?

2. Would it be unwise to email one of my interviewers to ask if they have any advice moving forward?

Adcoms your insight would be incredibly helpful. To all responders: your time and consideration are greatly appreciated

Congratulations on your acceptance. You should be aware that waitlist movement should be happening as soon as other applicants who hold more than one acceptance begin to pare down their choices. I would expect things to happen in March and April. I don't think it would hurt with a reconnecting communication updating your information on your application as long as you haven't been annoying with them.
