Waitlist chances - some advice please

Hi everyone,
I was waitlisted at my top choice school and still haven't heard back. I want to send a letter of intend and I was wondering if it is a good idea to also email the people who interviewed me and send this letter to them as well?
I know letters of intend probably don't help much however I want to do anything I can so that I don't have any regrets in the end.
Any feedback would be really appreciated.

depends on the school....some schools hate letters of intent and some love it and some dont care whatsoever. id look over their emails and see if they ever discourage sending them any emails in general about application status.

When I didn't get an interview from my top school after 12/1 I emailed the dean of the school and 2 other people at the top, got my interview shortly after. I'd say definitely email them, have to go after it.
