Tell me about it... I'm on 5 waitlists!Hey guys! I'm sure there's a lot of us out there that have been waitlisted (OH THE AGONY!!). I myself have been waitlisted at NYU and my anxiety is through the roof
I figured I'd create this thread so that we could all have our own support system!
Good luck! Keep showing your interest to NYU by calling or emailing them every week or so. They love that apparently.
Keep your head up! As someone suggested, it might not hurt to send an e-mail or call (probably not every week though lol) and show your interest/desire to attend the school. this is very ignorant to say at least. dental school's interviews are unpredictable. and a lot of waitlists take place with few acceptances.
I was on 4 and got one acceptance on feb 29! Keep ur chin up! I showed interest and kept updating them with new grades

I have been emailing all the schools that I have been waitlisted about 2-3 times per month updating them about recent extracurriculars and grades. I am also planning ahead for next cycle as my GPA is what needs to be improved by looking into masters and post bac programs. I pretty much just accepted the fate that I will be re-applying and if somehow a miracle email of acceptance comes, then I will be happy, but I am not betting any money on it.
You have pretty decent stats, how did this happen?
I am actually a psychology major so they wanted to see more science courses and a bit higher gpa. But in terms of interview, i thought my interviews were solid, but i guess not good enough.
Haha yeah, definitely not every week but I'm making sure to stay in contact with them. I just hope the waitlist starts moving soon. Thank you!

I'm wailist at NYU. Didn't seem much moving since may. I'm truly losing my hope now

I'm on three wait lists and about 15 pounds heavier since December... still no acceptances...
