I will be out of the country from mid-May to early June volunteering in South America. For extended periods of time, I will have no access to the internet or a phone. I am currently accepted to a wonderful school, but I am also waitlisted at several of my top choices. I know at least one of the schools requires a response within 24 hours and can imagine that other schools may want a similar response time if I am fortunate enough to be offered a spot in their class. Since I will be out of contact, can I have someone else (my parents in this case) act on my behalf or even possibly make decisions according to a set of instructions I leave them? I am willing to send medical schools a written statement if necessary. I will contact each school, but wanted some input before I did.
Thank you!
Thank you!
