I just found out that I am on the waitlist for KCUMB. Does anyone know what the real chances of getting in are? Do they rank or do I have a better chance of getting in because I was waitlisted early? Does that mean I am on the top of the list? 😕
I have a huge decision to make....I am accepted to start at St. George's in February. I am trying to decide whether to wait and see if I get in to KCUMB or just go and start at St. George's in February. Do you even think I will hear from KCUMB by February?
Any advice would help. Thanks

hey aggie girl. i'm surprised they waitlisted you. a good friend of mine got in and she said that they usually interview people and accept them pretty much. i think it might be cuz it's later in the cycle. i would call their office. the ladies there are really helpful and just talk to them about your situation. maybe don't mention the name of the school SGU but just ask them when their waitlist starts to shift. gluck!

What I would do is see if St. Georges will defer your admission till the fall; from what I understand, there are advantages to doing it that way from a board/match perspective as well. Then you can wait to see what happens at KCUMB. If they don't come through, go to SGU in August.

I agree with Old Mil. Don't rush to St. Georges you might regret it. Once you are in there I think you can defer. I suggest getting buddy, buddy with someone in admissions at KCUMB and see if can keep your name at the top of the list. Then tell them your situation when it becomes crunch time.
