Waitlisted at Harvard Program in Clinical Effectiveness

I just received an email today that I've been placed on the waiting list for the Harvard PCE. I'm devastated. I applied to the summer-only MPH program in CE and PCE (only program I applied to).

Has anyone been accepted off the waiting list before? Does anyone know how much time the accepted candidates have before they have to get back to Harvard (ie I'm trying to get a sense of when the waiting list might start moving)?

To clarify, I haven't heard from the MPH office yet. I only heard I was waitlisted for the Program in Clinical Effectiveness (independent process) which can only mostly accomodate health professionals from Harvard/Boston area. I'm not in Boston.

I'm a final-year resident. Undergrad GPA 3.9. Graduated top 5% at a top tier medical school. Doing residency at a highly regarded hospital. Close to 10 publications.

i am a working professional at a top tier university on the west coast. my undergrad gpa was crap, so was my gre score. however, i managed to get into michigan, which i knew was because of my letters of rec. i am pretty sure i got rejected by harvard, so i am just waiting for the confirmation.

anyone got the good news from harvard this week? rumor has it that harvard is sending out their decision e-mails in batches on wednesday and friday, so just wondering if it's true.
