It all depends on if you were guaranteed the acceptance for next year. Those people are rated the highest on the list. Also, don't worry too much about stats. That is not all it. I think they are really seeking well rounded applicants: good stats, volunteering, research, clinical experience, leadership experience, etc. At this point if you are on the waitlist, I don't think it has much to do with stats. If you are on the list, they are interested and think that you may have what it takes, but you may have just applied a little later (my situation). They are looking for people that will not only make excellent physicians, but people that will make up a diverse an interesting class. Mostly everyones stats are good if not excellent.
