Hey guys

So I had an interview at SUNY on Oct 5th and got a letter that i was waitlisted. SUNY is my dream school and I'm not sure what I can do now to persuade them that i'm the right fit for them. My gpa isn't good at all - around 2.8-2.9 but they said it was "average" which I'm assuming they're being nice about it and they said they consider the undergrad that i come from. My OAT was 340 which they were happy about. I've had lots of shadowing experience and I think my recommendation letters were pretty strong. I think i bombed my interview since i was so nervous and didn't express myself the way i wanted to.
I used to email the director of admissions a lot for advice so he knows me pretty well. But after getting that letter, i tried to contact him again for advice on what i can do become a stronger candidate. He never replied me and I didn't want to be annoying and email him again.
Has anyone been on waitlist at SUNY or any school and if so, what did you have to do persuade them to accept you and how long did you have to wait??

Any help and advice is helpful!! Thank you!!

Best of luck to you! I just got my interview invite for SUNY and am pretty nervous about it. How was the overall interview experience for you, and I was wondering what did they ask you for the essay prompt? Thanks!

It was not so bad. was definietly nervous since it was the first one.
I think all the essay prompt may be different but it's really not that hard. It's very general and they didn't ask me during the interview about my essay at all. it was just asking me who my role model was.
