Hey guys. I've been waitlisted. Any suggestions on what to do? Should I call them every week? How do I find out where I am on the list? I know you're reading this "Box..", do you have any secrets on how to turn a "waitlist" into "acceptance"? Or, alas, am I doomed to wait it out? 😱 😳 😀

Hey,
Did they tell you where you are on the waitlist? If you're High waitlist then you'll probably pulled off for this year, but if you're low waitlist then start updating them on what you're doing and that you're still interested. If you're low waitlist you might have a chance to be considered for the next year, so don't worry too much. Good luck.

I was waitlisted at NYCOM about a month ago and I called the Director of Admissions and had a nice talk with her. I asked her questions about where I am on the list and stuff like that and she said they can't give that info out. I asked if there is anything I can do to improve my application for this round and she said no, except a letter saying I really want to go there.

I'd call Touro and see what they have to say. Good luck, waiting sucks, I know.

I was told by Roger that you are ranked by your MCAT score. I would just keep them updated if you take any classes or something. He also said that the more times he sees your name (email, mail, phone) the better. But I wouldn't call and pester them every week.
