Waitlisted x4....Is there hope?

I am waitlisted at 4 schools....haven't heard from anyone and was hoping
I would have gotten four calls on May 16th... 🙂 Anyway, unless they
have lost my phone number, I am feeling worried right now. When does
the movement get going strong....when do I need to figure out a different
plan? Please offer advice!!! Support.....marriage proposals...ha.

I'm going to keep giving this same advice cause no one else seems to be: Start drinking heavily. It'll help pass the time. Before you know it, one of those schools will contact you with good news.

i think most movement will be in june, less so in july. i hear ya though...on three waitlists myself. keep on sending those updates and letters of interest. good luck to both of us!

Miami was my all time first choice and I got pulled off their alternate list this past Wednesday, so there is hope! You just have to be proactive by writing letters and emails of interest/intent to the admission offices.

Dont just wait for them to come across your file and act on it. Good luck!

dont worry, you shall be fine. It has only been less than a week since the deadline was given. Just keep in mind that the May 15th was only the deadline for which people cannot get their deposit back. It does not mean that they HAVE to make a decision by then, though it is suggested - STRONGLY suggested. I would suspect that by next week is when the big chunk of acceptances will be sent out. Have faith - if you have 4waitlists, there is obviously something about you that they noticed as unique and an asset to the class.
