Hey everybody. I was just recently placed on the waitlist at Baylor College of Dentistry for the Class of 2008. Has anybody else been placed on a waitlist anywhere? I haven't heard any responses from other candidates placed on waitlists. Does anyone know approximately how many new students a dental school normally accepts off the waitlist? Friend of mine got off the waitlist last week. She was rated very high on the waitlist. She was also going to there post bac program and then all the sudden she got a call from the office stating she had been given a position for 2004.

I know that last year they accepted 1 person from the waitlist on the day of orientation.... I was #2 on the waitlist. However, just keep prayin, hopin, and wishin because you never know. Plus, if you're applying again this summer, get your app in as soon as possible.

Call the school and ask them how many people come off the list in a typical year.

I find it incredibly insulting that dentin is asking what he should do about the waitlist at upenn, when he is already at another school.

Why? Maybe dentin wants to go to upenn really bad 😕
