I have been accepted 🙂 to one school, and waitlisted at 2. Would it help me at all to inform the schools that have waitlisted me (UMDNJ-SOM and PCOM) that I've been accepted somewhere, or would they not really care? Ovbiously, I'm thrilled to have been accepted, but these 2 schools are my top 2 choices.

Send in the deposit for the school that accepted you.

Get a great letter from a DO or do something special over the next few months and send PCOM/UMDNJ an update about what you have been up to.

Using your acceptance as leverage doesnt work as well as showing them you are still working hard to impress.

I'm in the exact situation where at my top choice i'm waitilsted. So what I did and many will agree, is that out of the two schools, pick your number 1 school and write a letter of intent, stating that if they take you off the waiting list, you would drop all other acceptances and matriculate to their school. I did this with DMU. I'm sitting on an AZCOM acceptance but told DMU that if they take me off the list that I would go there instead of AZCOM. Keep in mind that you should probably do what you can to maintain your acceptance just in case you don't get into the waitlisted schools. Good luck
