For those of us still waiting to hear about waitlists and schools that still havent gotten to the waitlists.....what's the deal with AMCAS for the next cycle?

I'm trying to "hope for the best, prepare for the worst", so I want to get my AMCAS out early (August MCAt is what hurt me), but what if I get accepted after AMCAS is submitted? Do I just have to suck it up and eat the $500-$1000 cost, or is there a chance it will be refunded? Thanks in advance.

Someone on another thread suggested submitting primary app just for one school first, which costs $160. The longest part of the process is waiting for AMCAS to verify your grades. You can add other schools if you did not get off waitlists later. This allows you to get your app in earlier.

Refund. Ha ha. Nope. I'm in a similar situation. I guess we just have to evaluate our own chances and when it would make the most sense to reapply. I'm waiting until July, because there's still a lot of movement in June (or at least I hope there will be).
