I have been wait listed at two schools (Utica and Gannon). Has anyone been wait listed at these schools or anywhere else that knows whether it is common to get off the wait list? I am number 13 on the list at one of the schools. I wasn't sure if this is typically too high on the list or if I should still be very hopeful.

If it helps, I was accepted at Utica but turned down the offer, so there's already at least one spot open. At my interview, they said that they typically go extensively into their waitlist once everyone starts shuffling around throughout March and April. Also, I was waitlisted at another program and I just found out a few days ago that I was accepted there, so it does happen... don't be discouraged yet

Did you turn down the offer yesterday because he had emailed me back about an hour after he sent out the wait list letters saying I moved up a spot

No it was about a week ago, but I'm willing to bet they put the list together before they sent out the initial offers, so there would have been a delay
