what is the best way to get off a waitlist and onto the acceptance list? Is there one set formula or is it more of a waiting game? This question arises after getting my first post-interview response and it being, you guessed it, waitlisted.

Write them letters of interest. If it is your #1 choice school and you loved then write letters of intent.

If you have a special situation such as you live in the same city with the med school and you don't want to leave. Or your partner lives in X city where the school that waitlisted you is ... then definately write explaining your situation.

Other than that , *I THINK*, it's a waiting game.
