Waiving right to see LOR

I was unsure about this and I did search on the forum.

I originally checked "not waving my right", but based on the information I gathered by searching I realized that was no good.

So, I immediately deleted evaluation information before they were submitted and clicked yes to wave the right to see.

Does that make any difference?

I changed them before the letters are sent or packages was mailed out.

Members don't see this ad.
 
It shouldn't matter all that much, as long as your final decision is to waive your right. The idea is that if you can see your LOR, it might be inaccurate as a prof may not want to hurt your feelings. The person you have writing your LOR should be someone you trust, and who knows a very positive side of you. If you have waived your right before sending out requests for your LORs the school will acknowledge that.
