Does anyone know when the Wake Forest alternate list starts moving? Has anyone gotten off the alternate list?

The alternate list can start moving at any time. Students that have been interviewed are voted on every time the committee meets. I believe 15 students are chosen for acceptance during each voting session. I think there is a lot of movement come May.

You've got an impressive interview list, UCLAMAN (for what it's worth, I got denied interviews at Northwestern and Stanford, and I still managed to snag a spot elsewhere)--I would be astonished 
if you didn't get in somewhere.

Hey UCLAman after reading more about your experience I realize that you and me seem to have a very similar application and have had very similar interviews. I am also from UCLA, part of Samahang, reapplicant, with a strong research background. I'm just curious if we know each other.

Hey UCLAman - I visited Wake last week. The adcom meets again March 26th to admit 10-15 more people. Also, they told me that they'll be interviewing candidates through the end of March and possibly through the first week of April.
Sorry, I don't know if they'll wait until all the interviewees have been seen before moving to the waitlist or if the waitlist is reviewed at each adcom meeting.
But if it's any consolation, about 50% of the interviewees are eventually offered acceptances, and the M1 who hosted our lunch got in off the wait list.
