just wanted to let you know that if you sent in your application around the 30th of august you should call them and ask about your file..you might be pleasantly surprised! 🙂

They have been giving phone invites for interviews. I think if you call the school, it means you care enough to go there if they accept you....at least in their minds. A lot of people have called and gotten an invite that way.

Go give it a shot and let us know what happens!

He means that the admissions person you reach may notify you that you have an interview. That's happened with a fair amount of people at Wake over the last couple weeks (me included). Good luck!

If Wake Forest has placed your file in their "top interview group", and you call and check your status, they will give out interviews over the phone. Like the OP, I was complete on Aug 30. My status last week had read "file under review." Today it read "Application complete." I called to check my status just today, and was offered an interview. Good luck to all who call and check their status this week.

I sent in my signature page and submitted my secondary on 8-30; I was complete by 9-6. I called 9-11 after I noticed a change on my status page. I was impressed at how quickly they reviewed my file...none of this endless waiting game. Interviews are M, W, and F, I believe. (and maybe Tuesday). The first open date when I talked to them yesterday was October 25. Hope this helps.

I finally worked up the nerve to call... several weeks after hearing the first 'helpful hint' on this website. I got the good news too... only now they dont have interview spots open until November. Erg...

makes me wonder what would happen if I never called? Are they just waiting for people to come to them???

it was less than a week after i was complete that i got the interview. i think i was complete on thursday or friday of last week, and i called on tuesday and they said i was in their top interview pile, so they offered me an interview over the phone. if it says your application is complete instead of under review, they've probably already made a decision about your file. i'd say call them. good luck!!!!
