Oculoplastics Fellowship

The Oculoplastic Division of the Department of Ophthalmology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center offers comprehensive fellowship training in oculoplastic/reconstructive, lacrimal, and orbital surgery and diseases. Our programs goal is to prepare a board eligible/ board certified ophthalmologist and proficient surgeon to approach functional problems affecting the ocular adnexa. The fellowship offered is one or two years depending on the proficiency in orbit that the candidate would like to achieve. This is a non-ASOPRS fellowship.
Training covers all areas of oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, lacrimal surgery, and orbital procedures with main emphasis in functional problems. The fellowship is under the direct supervision of Dr. Valenzuela-Arellano, Professor of Ophthalmology.
