Wake Forest Secondary Question

I got an email from WFUSM saying that they would like to wait for my Aug MCAT scores before making a decision. I got a 29Q on a previous MCAT but I knew I could do better (and I think I did a lot better, but only time will tell). Anyway, I know that Wake Forest screens. If they didn't like the rest of my application, would they have rejected me pre-secondary? Does this mean that I "sort of" made it through their screen? This might be a dumb question but I was just wondering. Maybe they send this email to everyone waiting for Aug MCATs regardless of the aspects of their AMCAS. Thanks.

I wouldn't panic just yet. It could be (and I'm speculating here) that they are waiting to see if your Aug scores will put you below whatever threshold they have for the screen. I mean, it's always possible that a student could go DOWN. In fact the *majority* of re-takers do just that.

As tough as it is, I'd take a deep breath and try not to over think this one. Just wait a bit and see what happens.
