I did a search, but the two results were well over 10 pages each. Does Wake Forrest not have a secondary?

They do an initial screen on your primary application and invite you to complete a secondary if they wish to proceed.

Just make sure when you fill out the secondary that you spell it Forest with one R. Not trying to be a jerk, believe me, I almost made the same mistake. Thanks alot, Forrest Gump and pop culture. Arg.

They send you an e-mail one way or the other. If you make the cut, they send you the secondary link. If you're borderline, they say they're waiting for August MCAT results. If you don't make the cut, they basically say "don't call us, we'll call you".

i got an email saying that they received my amcas app and would contact me when more information was needed.

if that means i got cut, why don't they just say "we regret to inform you blah blah blah..." it would create a lot less confusion. 😕

I rec'd that email a couple of days before I rec'd the secondary invite email. It's just their way of telling you, "We're reviewing your app."

fyi, my amcas was verified on 7/6, i got the "we got your amcas" email from wake on 7/28 and was then invited to fill out their secondary on 7/30.... just to give you a feel of timing.

OK folks. I was lucky enough to get a secondary from WF then screw it up and cannot access it anymore. Thought essay questions were short answer... YES I AM A DUMBA$$! The admissions office is having a difficult time understanding my inquiries and they are civil and polite. Can someone who can access their secondary restate the essay questions for me?

a lot of people did short answer. someone that is wf class of 2008 came in a thread and said that that's what they did and were o.k. i wouldn't worry about it. do a search if you're interested in seeing what other people's experiences have been.
