I've read several posts on here saying that Wal-Mart doesn't care about pharmacy, doesn't care about health-care, etc., etc. I was JUST hired there as a technician (haven't even had my first day on the job yet), and I was just wondering if anyone could expand or explain what you mean?
How are they any different from any of the other big-chain retailers (or even chain supermarkets) with pharmacies? Is it based solely on the (troubling) reports of employee benefits and sweat shop production (two of the most recent things I've seen posted here)? Or are there other reasons, specific to the pharmacy, of why they "don't care"?
I know that Wal-Mart is far from perfect, I'm just trying to tease out what is making them worse than any other retail environment...
