severance...lol. you think you're upper level management or something? they will cash out your PTO and tell you to apply for unemployment. oh and don't forget to turn the lights off after you leave.

Man so much misinformation on the internet. Go on Ask Walgreens HR and type in 'severance plan'. Pharmacists with 6 mo-3 yrs service get 4 wks, >3 yrs get 2 wks/yr max 32 wks.

that is only if your position is eliminated. no, reducing your hours to zero is not eliminating your position

lmao. I saw the last round of 200+ stores closing, not a single severance package was handled out in my district, and yes rphs were let go (cough..I mean they were given a choice of floating and driving 2 hours for a 4-6 hour shifts vs quitting...ahemm).

The pharmacists from Rite Aid that converted to Walgreens got a week for every year they were with the company I believe it was. Also, a lot of them were offered severance and when the HR manager came back a week later they stated it was off the table and they would go to a "floater pool". Whether they were staff, RXM, etc they were all lumped together. Eventually when management realized there were a ton of pharmacists in the "pool" they came back with the severance packages
