POWER came, but its implementation is not as widespread as they initially thought. Either way, I think retail pharmacy will see major changes in the next 10 years or so.

I imagine the legal obstacles to this being implemented will be significant. I mean, how can you assure that the image being compared is in fact the product being dispensed? You'd have to prove that the tech, clerk, or whatever on the other end can't accidentally screw it up "after verification." I mean, the technology is not at all groundbreaking, so why doesn't it already exist?
