I’d just be ready for a reapply for next cycle. Yes, you have good stats but your app being so late as it is will really hinder you. Especially since you only applied to 2 schools. However, you never know, anything is possible! Hope for success this cycle!

anything extra you think that I could do to increase my chances even if its just a little, like get a DA job, more volunteer or shadowing different dentists? I also have another mission trip in december.

have you attended events/volunteered/shadowed/interacted with UF or NOVA?

Not a whole lot because you’ve already applied. But if you assume you’re reapplying then yes, that would help you when you apply again unless you tell schools about your experiences now. You’re sorta in a pickle in that you applied late and don’t have a ton of experiences like extracurriculars but hopefully what you have now will highlight how you are as a student. I would try to get more volunteer hours in the states if you can or dip your foot in research if it’s something that interests you. All the dental schools I’ve interviewed at loved hearing about my research but that’s mostly all I’ve done in undergrad so that’s my strength on my app. Just gonna find what makes you stand out!
