I got 3 interviews but I didn't get any after that and I'm getting anxious ;-( and I think I bombed my first one.
I know it's pretty late to do so but should I apply to more schools?
Thank you for helping me out!

Where did you get interviews?

You have no other meaningful extracurricular activities, and your only significant volunteering experience was with the Korean school (was this part of a mission?). I don't have a sense of your hand skills other than possibly your research.

As it is, trust the process. More invitations could come in the spring. For me, your clinical hours are light and below what I would see on screens. Also, I don't like that your only community service in the US was just 12 hours at a homeless shelter, but again... I'm not representative of every admissions committee. In general, I don't see that you've had much face time with people in need or in pain, and you are entering a career where you literally will have face time with patients.

Thanks for the reply!
I got interviews from Utah, Detroit Mercy, and Temple.
My volunteering experience teaching at the Korean Language School was in the US; it is a small organization ran by Korean American Community in my state. However I agree that I don't have much experience with vulnerable populations and my shadowing hours are weak. I will just keep volunteering and look for more shadowing opportunities while I wait for more interviews.

Late July~August 8: Roseman, Utah, Oregon, Pacific, Midwestern, NOVA, Columbia, Detroit Mercy, Temple, LECOM, Harvard, Buffalo
Late August: A.T. Still, Western, Rutgers, UPenn, Pitt, Minnesota, Michigan

I honestly just applied to schools that accept more OOS students based on the booster statistics 😭
and for those competitive schools, I just wanted to try at least 😅

It's not Utah! I haven't had the interview yet, but I really want to do well because it's my top choice.
