Any schools that appreciate public health / public service? Have seen on the forums that ASDOH is one but I can't see myself in Arizona.

Thank you all for any input provided.
when in september are you submitting and why?

Should be by first week. Decided last minute I want to apply this cycle but need to wrap up some things first
what do you consider "too late"?
it won't mean you won't get into school, just that you may not have as many decision day acceptances than if you would have applied 4-6 weeks earlier
you will still get interviews, but they will later in 2024 and even in 2025...

how did you come up with this list?
how many schools are you able to afford to apply to?

MOSDOH is sister school to ASDOH

what do you consider "too late"?

you will still get interviews, but they will later in 2024 and even in 2025...
By this do you mean less acceptances in total or just less acceptances that come in by the decision day

and then there is your school list
how did you come up with this list?
how many schools are you able to afford to apply to?
Mainly schools in locations I see myself living or have ties in.

Able to afford up to 20
18 is too many, except for the fact that 9 of your first 11 schools are easily in the top 12-15 most difficult to get into schools in the country
plus i believe UIC is strongly instate heavy
add in the fact that your gpa is at the matriculant average nationwide (3.55) and your TS is below the average (20.5)- but congrats on a good AA- and your late application, you may need the 18 schools
however, you need mission fit to get interview invites and acceptances, "locations I see myself living or have ties in" is not mission fit
research the schools that are strong in public health and concentrate on showing your desire to attend these schools
you need to have a range of schools - a few reaches, mostly in-range, and some safeties...
