Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags:
I'm a junior so I still have 3 semesters (including this current one) to bring up my gpa. But I'll be applying with a 3.1-3.2...
I have a knack for things involving manual dexterity, especially music (guitar, piano, etc.) but also crocheting and crafts, baking, etc.
Almost considered a music minor so the classes I took along with science classes really brought me down mentally and academically (spring sem. freshman year).
My uni's core requires me to take a lot of philosophy, history/politics, arts, religion, economics, math/science not needed for dentistry. The reason is to develop "well-rounded individuals" but it doesn't feel like that right now... 🙁( and you might say to separate sGPA and overall, but science GPA is lower... my non sGPA is 3.55.
Small uni, so I can count the pre-dental students on one hand. Pre-dental society just started last spring, so I have had limited resources to help me.
Hoping to hear back soon from SPEP II summer pre-dental enrichment program w clinical experience and DAT classes and exam included

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE. <3 this place is truly amazing and I am so passionate about dentistry and lucky to be surrounded with others that are also just as or more passionate.
