I am planning to repeat 3-4 of my undergrad courses in fall and retaking the DAT to see if that helps my chances

Why do you feel your application was overlooked?

Grades from all courses including those you retake count on the application GPA. There is no grade replacement.

With such a low sGPA, you should look into dental SMP's in the United States if you want to broaden your list. I don't know about the current situation for international graduate admissions, so be attentive. In all likelihood, those programs will be happy to have you fill a seat and take your tuition if they are allowed to take Canadian applicants.

You don't say anything about what your volunteering (200 hours) is about. Also shadowing a dentist for 250 hours is odd to me without any "next step" like working as a dental assistant. Maybe there are restrictions in Canada, but details always help. I feel your volunteering is subpar, and mentioning your working with an optometrist for 3 summers, then a dentist for 2... makes me wonder what's going on.

that's really late, especially for someone with your stats
and only 2 schools was not a good idea either

what have you done since then to improve your application?

I have graduated and volunteered more along with research work. working in dental office .
my GPA for last 2 semesters was 3.83,3.87.I will be taking he DAT again this yr in June.
I am also applying for Masters in oral health science hoping to do it online do you think that would help?
