Clinical Experience:
~ 1300 hours EMT doing 30/70 scene calls and IFTs
~ 300 hours PT aide
Research Experience:
~ 150 hours in a clinical study as a kinesiologist. Set pts up for physical tests, and collected and analyzed data. No publications
Volunteering (Nonclinical):
~ 1000 hours at a disadvantaged after-school program for elementary and middle schoolers.
~ 50 hours tutoring kids from the above program if need be in math/science
Shadowing:
- 50 hours PMR
- 30 hours orthopedic surgeon
Extracurricular activities:
~ 8000 student-athlete with minor success at the national level (5000 hours Team captain)
Gap year activities:
Will most likely double EMT hours by matriculation and adding another ~500 hours to non non-clinical volunteering.
Relevant honors and awards:
Student-Athlete of the year on graduating year

I am an EMT in the Sacramento area. The only California MD school I am considering applying to is Davis due to this.
Still finalizing a school list but aiming for lower-tier MD and DO. California MD schools besides Davis are likely out of reach. Seeing WAMC with MD out-of-state or if you guys think I should still have a few reach schools in California. Besides Davis, still finalizing a school list but would appreciate the help.
