3 years in a biology lab (2000+ hours), won an award at a poster competition for at my school for undergrads
My lab is really slow about publishing, but we’re currently planning to write a manuscript for a project I’m a part of (I’ll be 3rd author)
Clinical Experience:
Around 150 hours of basic hospital volunteering, was planning to get more and then COVID happened
Physician Shadowing:
60 hours (30 with an emergency doc and 30 with a surgeon)
Non-Clinical Volunteering:
50 hours volunteering at a nursing home
60 hours as a peer health educator
40 hours volunteering virtually with a senior center
150 hours at the local Humane Society (coordinating adoptions, trapping and transporting cats)
