WAMC?
- Please help me build my school list!
- I feel like MCAT is a little low for T10 schools and I'm worried I'll apply too top-heavy.
- My app is a little light on research as well (all clinical 1-off summer/semester projects, nothing extensive or sustained) and I know that is valued at a lot of the T10 schools.
- Would love a list of OOS friendly schools and/or schools that offer merit based financial aid.
- Currently a senior and am graduating this May so I have a gap year already locked in.

You have a very well rounded application with excellent stats. You have a shot at top programs. I had a very similar app to yours and ended up with a few top 20 interviews and acceptances.

I would however suggest having a solid base of safeties/regional schools, and then adding those reaches on top. Faha above has suggested a good list. Have at least 20.

Thank you for the list Faha! Would you not advise trying Stanford or are they too research heavy of a school?

Hi Goro,

I wanted to say thanks again as I've almost finalized my list for schools and all your input has been invaluable. I wanted to quickly ask why you suggested Baylor? I saw that they recently moved to TMDSAS and I wasn't sure if that would affect their IS/OOS ratio or if it was worth submitting an application as an OOS applicant with no ties to TX.

As a private school, and based upon MSAR's IS/OOS percentages, I think that top applicants have a chance there, even if from OOS.
