On face value, you are solid cannon fodder.

UC schools focus a lot on community fit, especially supporting those who grew up in areas they serve. Your activities touch many different marginalized populations, so I would think that's enough to grab attention among the schools where you will apply to. But mission fit will push your application further; research the PRIME programs for the UC schools.

Of course if you're "am premed, will travel," apply smartly. What makes you excited to attend medical school in Phoenix, Iowa City, or Kalamazoo (for example)? I'm guessing you just looked at median MCAT/GPA, but you need mission fit too.

Also, I think you might still be a little lower than desired for the Jesuit schools for service orientation hours. Try to pick that up by the time you apply (especially soup kitchen work... get it up to 400 if you can to match your refugee rehabilitation work).

Thank you for your response! It is true that I looked up median MCAT/GPA. I added Iowa because my very close family member is currently doing residency there. Others are pretty much a numbers fit.

Aren't Baylor and UTx.SW in Texas? I was under the impression that Texas schools accept very few OOS applicants.
