I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a list and hit a wall. My MCAT increased a lot from my practices so I had to scrap the list and start over. Would appreciate any feedback!

I'm in a weird place bc I am high stat with weak ECs

1. cGPA/sGPA: 4.0 both - Chemical Engineer
2. MCAT: 522 (132/129/131/130)
3. Residence: Midwest
4. Ethnicity/race: ORM, female
5. Undergrad: state school nothing impressive
6. Clinical Volunteering: this is my weakest area. ~20 hours free health screening in low SES area. ~85 hours local Spanish-speaking clinic (started during covid so not super hands-on w patients, but definitely spent 90% of the time with them)
7. Research: 1.5 years + 1 projected. no pubs, one poster ~ 1200 hours in total
8. Shadowing: 58 hours internal medicine. 2 different MDs, one for 8 hours, the other for 50.
9. Non-clinical volunteering: 110+ Hours: volunteering for high school speech tournaments, 42 Hours: held a leadership position during an out of state trip to a low SES zip code (volunteering centered around food insecurity), ~40 hours: coordinating/planning fundraising event (~190 total)
10. Other ECs: Leadership position in pre-med org, Leadership position in Engineering Honors Society (President now), all my positions were based on organizing events. ~400 hours across all.
11. Honors & Awards: dean's list + recently got an award for being the top junior in my engineering class, voted on by faculty. Couple others but all minor.

12. Other (Work): 3 years (+1 projected) as a pharmacy tech, certified for 2 years (>1800 hours). Tons of valuable experience, but doesn't count as clinical (retail)

Submitted AMCAS, expecting verification this week.

I have not taken CASPer. Scheduled 7/19

LORs from PI, 2 engineering profs, MD I shadowed

Tentative School List:

You can remove Medical College Wisconsin since they will yield protect (keep if you are a Wisconsin resident) . St Louis expects many more clinical and non clinical hours than you have. Remove Wake Forest, George Washington and Jefferson since they will yield protect. You could add these schools:
Rochester
Duke
Kaiser
