Welcome to the forums. The details matter with your experiences, so make sure you get feedback. Where did you interview?

If I could summarize my impression of your WAMC profile (which is NOT your AMCAS, remember), it's that you seem to (again) be a day late and dollar short.

That said, you seem to be very ER heavy and haven't had much experience in other non-emergent areas of medicine. Details with your shadowing would help, but you should have more variety and insight than you show here. Future hours mean nothing when you submit your application.

Your non-clinical volunteering does little to address service orientation. Without 150 hours completed before submission, your application may be screened out at most schools. As a reapplicant, you must have this covered to show improvement... but it doesn't seem like you have done this.

I make no attempt to ascertain mission fit due to lack of detail. Mercer takes applicants with a documented passion for rural health.

So what have you done to significantly improve your application?
You applied without any shadowing. Get 50 hours of shadowing , with a good chunk in primary care, before you reapply.
You also don’t meet the bare minimum in nonclinical volunteering. Tutoring is its own category. Working with hospice patients is wonderful, but depending on what you do , it might be more clinical. And adding administrative hours from your clinical volunteering to nonclinical volunteering won’t help
Did you have several people read your essays?
Have you thought about taking a gap year and filling in the holes in your application?
Save some money at take Loyola off your list. They expect, and get , hundreds if not thousands of service hours from their applicants.
Good luck.

Thank you all for taking time to review & respond. I got no interviews this cycle, was "on-hold" at couple which got dropped. What I have added since last cycle - Job as MA & volunteering (hospice & hospital). I have had no luck securing shadowing gig so far.

Scribing for 1000 hours... I can count a small number (50) to count as shadowing. I'm not concerned about your shadowing as much, though it may help you to get more... this is where your lack of detail hurts this analysis.

No commitment to non-clinical service orientation activities likely doomed your file for most of the schools on your list. Seeing that you didn't address this in your application year might doom you if you decide to apply for the impending cycle. You haven't gotten off this treadmill, so...

Again, it would be nice to have details.

You can assign 50 hours of your scribing hours to shadowing hours. Your lack of non clinical volunteering will limit your chances for interviews.
