You can only put down 1 state of residence on AMCAS. What is your specific situation for FL and GA? Did you live in one and attend undergrad in the other? Do you have a special case where your parents claim you as a dependent and they are a FL resident?

Thanks, do you think I have a pretty decent shot at getting a few interviews? I will do most of these and some MD that I kind of align with.

You have a decent chance. If you can obtain an LOR from a DO, that would help. At least shadowing one would be good. Apply early and consider adding additional schools that opened very recently (such as the one in Orlando, Touro MT etc) if you do not receive interviews by Oct.

Gaining more clinical hours and non-clinical volunteering during the app year as well in case you end up having to reapply or send an update letter.

If they are not accepting applicants, then forget about them.

There is one in Kansas (that is not KCU). And LECOM has other campuses outside of Bradenton in Erie, Seton Hill and Elmira.

More nonclinical volunteering that is not tutoring or teaching will help the application profile. You don't give me an idea why you want to be a doctor based on your very brief disclosure, but newer schools can't be as picky. Make sure the student support system is strong. Every school has issues, and the newer schools may have more to adjust to.
