You have a good list and should receive several interviews. UCSD admits few non residents with no connection to the state.

You ought to get some attention. Have you taken Casper or PREview?

Make sure you know what you want to be doing as a physician in 10 years. What do you think the schools on your list offer?

Thank you @Faha @Mr.Smile12 for your responses - definitely interested in doing research as a physician and trying to look into specific school offerings.

@Goro @gyngyn @LizzyM @chilly_md @Med Ed @gonnif

I was just also wondering if I need more non-clinical volunteering or if there's anything I should be doing during my gap year?
Also, how will the 514 first MCAT score impact my application, especially since I'm worried my school list is a little top heavy?

Thank you in advance!! :)

Take off UConn unless they explicitly have said they take applicants from Rhode Island. Can replace with Dartmouth.

Swap UCLA, Georgetown, and George Washington for Ohio State and Hofstra. Georgetown prefers more clinical and non-clinical hours (same for UCLA). Schools like Ohio State and Hofstra take higher stat applicants and broaden your list. You should receive multiple interviews.
