Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags:

I have a C- in a prerequisite (general chemistry) that prevented me from applying to many schools. I have also never taken an anatomy class, which also prevented me from applying to a number of schools

I am not sure how many schools received the fourth letter of recommendation from my principal investigator, as it was submitted almost two months after the rest of my application

Only a slight upward trend on my transcript. Lots of B’s, some A’s, and a few C’s throughout the years. Went from a 3.1 (freshman year) to a 3.3 (senior year)

My CASPer score was in the lowest quartile

I received my first Kira assessment from Roseman was completed and received on August 3rd. However, I was requested to retake “some or all of my Kira assessment” on August 11th, and the retake was completed and received on August 17th.

If I do not get into a school this cycle, what can I do to improve my application for the next cycle?

My school list is based on which schools’ student profiles I fit into according to the ADEA dental school explorer

IMO, your school list needs to be improved
you have far too many OOS publics, and most of them are too geographically removed from california
UOP likes high DAT scores (and grades)
you still have a chance to receive some interviews, but if you have to reapply, you need to have a better balance of schools

Agreed

Did you retake the class you got a C-minus in; if so, what was the grade? If not, you clearly need to address this before you apply again. Will you take anatomy? Anything you can do to move that science GPA up to 3.5 is going to help.
