I was informed that I needed to reformat my post for a WAMC thread. This is my reformatted post. I have also corrected some of the information that I included:

GPA: 3.71 cGPA and 3.63 sGPA
MCAT Scores: 502 (C/P 125, CARS 124, B/B 128, P/S 125), 510 (C/P 128, CARS 125, B/B 129, P/S 128), and 512 (C/P 129, CARS 126, B/B 128, P/S 129)
State: NY residency
Ethnicity: South Asian
Undergrad institute or category: Graduated a semester early in 2023
Clinical experience: 518 hours clinical scribing, 472 hours volunteer EMS (EMT-B state and nationally), 106 hours of behavior therapy (working with children with autism)
Research experience: 92 hours of genetics research (which resulted in a poster presentation), 105 hours of cell biology research, both undergraduate research
Shadowing hours: I considered the scribing hours as shadowing. All were with orthopedic surgeons
Other extracurricular activities: 68 hours as a genetics tutor (I completed a CRLA Level 1 certificate as part of this), 5 literary magazine publications, audio engineering 13 radio programs at my school university (each recording session was 1 hour for a total of 13 hours, which resulted in a leadership award)
Honors or Awards: I was a TriBeta (Biology Honors Society) member at my university's chapter, and I received a membership award from my ambulance corps and the aforementioned radio leadership award
Other information not included: I have applied in prior applications (2023-24 and 2024-25). Specific information on each of these cycles is provided in my original post, such as my school lists for each cycle, and my progression as a candidate.

I currently do not have non-clinical volunteering hours, but am currently working on getting these hours.

I also had some other questions:
1) Do I still need Pre-Health Committee and professor letters despite having graduated?
2) Besides community service hours, do I also need to include extracurricular hours? If so, how many?
3) If the school offers it, would it be worth it to complete an MD/MS program?

What’s your mission fit? I fear you are most likely getting automatically screened out for lack of shadowing and zero non-clinical hours. I am also a re-applicant and when I attended re-applicant sessions every school said something along the same thing, “you got screened out if you had anything less than 150-200+ non-clinical volunteering.” When I applied last cycle I had barely 100. This time I had closer to 200 and have been much more successful. I also was much more strategic when making my school list and making sure I aligned with the schools goals

You are going to be a 3x reapplicant? What advice did your prehealth committee give you about your profile BOTH times?

Your scribing is only with orthopedic surgeons, but nothing with primary care? That should have been noticed by your prehealth advisors or any admissions professional reviewing your profile for a reapp.

Your school list? I know many schools will average your MCAT attempts screening. It is excellent you went from 502 to 512, but that puts your average at 507. It also makes your decision to shadow orthopedic surgeons curious.

So the upcoming cycle will be your third cycle and you are still missing shadowing (especially primary care)and nonclinical volunteering. Have you had any interviews in the other cycles? What were the results? How are your letters? Have you thought about totally redoing your application. From what I’ve read in your application, it seems you might just be plugging holes in your application and not developing a cohesive application story tying everything together describing your journey to medicine, your focus on this journey, your vision of where you plan to go in medicine and how you plan to get there. It seems that your activities are “stand alone” activities and not part of a grand plan on your journey. I haven’t read all of your posts so maybe I’ve misinterpreted your posts. I do think you need to revamp your application and possibly wait a year to reapply as you redo your application. You need to look closely at schools and what they expect and are looking for in an applicant. Whatever you decide good luck.
