Hi! I’ve already been verified but I wanted to make sure that my list isn’t too top heavy. I excluded some details for privacy reasons. I would love suggestions for any appropriate mid/low tiers I can add, thanks!! I want to keep my list below 33. I know my stats are high but I’m ORM from CA and my ECs might be cookie cutter with low shadowing hours D:

- cGPA: 3.95 ; sGPA: 3.99 (Bio major)
- MCAT score: 523
- State of residence: CA
- Demographic: ORM female
- Year: graduated senior
- Clinical experience: Hospital volunteer in underserved area (250 hrs, 350 projected, MME), paid medical assistant and receptionist at a private practice (2200 total projected), paid optometry tech (900 hr)
- Research experience: immuno lab (1500 hrs, wrote seniors thesis, no pubs, 2 presentations at school-wide symposiums, awaiting mid-author publication at end of year, MME), cancer research lab over the summer (450 hr)
- Shadowing experience: Emergency med (30 hr during downtime at hospital volunteering), pathology (10 hr). Concerned that this is on the low side but I hope my clinical experience can make up for this.

- Extracurriculars: did a lot of dance, 2 leadership positions in other student orgs (~400 hr combined)
- Awards: university research fellowship, multiple academic/leadership/merit awards from university and biology department
- LORs: I think that 3/4 LOR will be quite good, but 1 of them is expected to be more generic
- Interested in rural health: I’ve had no experiences in rural health, so no
