Dawg as a fellow canadian, I'd go all in on Canada vs america. Your stats are great, although idk how welcoming alberta is to oop. You have a really good shot at western for sure, DAT might be on the low end for UofT. Id consider adding UBC too over some of these expensive american schools, I honestly think buffalo is the only one thats worth it.
 
I will also comment about your "volunteering" experience. I'm not sure what you are doing appeals to the community service expectations most American schools will have (food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation). Campus involvement is nice, but serving marginalized communities is what most (US) dental schools want.
