Hello,
I am applying for the first time to Davis and Royal and was wondering if I can get in.
Research hours:
400+ working on own research article with equine sperm
100 hours working on redwood plot research
Veterinary experience:
-General practice 1000+ hours
-emergency 500 hours
-spay and neuter clinic 550 hours
-Neurology internship 50 hours
-rehab internship 40 hours
Animal experience:
-Volunteering with horses for 50 hours
-Pig experience class 30 hours
work experience:
Customer service 500 hours
GPA:
last 68 quarter units 3.93
overall science 3.94
letters of rec:
- 3 veterinarians
I feel as though my experience is very little and lacks any large animal work. Do you think I have a decent chance of getting in this year or should I wait to apply next year.
