Your GPA will help you so much, so I think you have an excellent chance. I would consider adding more GPA heavy schools to your list if you want to get in on your first try. UC Davis, Texas A&M (though they take so few out of state), Oklahoma State, and University of Florida all love a high GPA. You don't have to apply to 18 like I did, but if you can afford it I would add a couple more as even the strongest applicants get rejected SOMEWHERE.

I'd just continue to grow your hours and expand in variety if you can.

Apply to your IS if you have one, then all other schools that allow residency changes for tuition (UC Davis, Ohio, Mizzou, Washington, NC State and apparently Arizona?).

What about schools that don't require organic chemistry II? I took orgo 1 but not orgo 2. All of the four schools I want to apply to do not require it.

Do you have the option of taking orgo 2? I think that would be worth it to keep your options open.

If I had stats high enough to give me a decent chance at cheaper tuition, I wouldn’t hesitate to take another class to qualify at those schools personally

maybe take it your spring semester so you don’t have to stress about it. But that just means you can’t apply to Purdue or MSU

WSU does not require second semester organic chem. They require two upper bio courses but they allow classes to be in progress at time of application.

K-State does not require Orgo 2, and 60% of their evaluation comes from GPA.
