Hi everyone! This is my second time applying so I would really appreciate honest feedback.

1. 3.16 GPA and 3.42 sGPA - this includes two undergrad and a certificate program
2. 500 MCAT (125/124/125/125)
3. Texas resident - currently working in Canada
4. Asian
5. UNT in Texas and RU in Canada
6. Volunteered at 2 different hospitals and at injections clinics during COVID (350 hours)
7. Knee Injection research with no publications
8. Shadowed an MD, a DO, a physiatrist, and a dermatologist. (4,000 hours)
9. Volunteered with a Vietnamese organization (350 hours)
10. Took about 3 gap years - managing a family business and opened my own then went back for my second undergrad to boost my GPA
11. Dean’s list
12. My first undergrad was in Texas, but my second one was in Canada where I did so much better in academics. Also have a D in O. Chem 2.

So far I’ve only completed the TMDSAS application and applied to UH, Sam Houston, UNT TCOM, and UT Tyler.

Was planning to apply to DO schools out of state as well particularly Florida since I also have family there.
