I am stressing about my application. I am a nontraditional student. Started off Bio - Premed but freshman year didnt go as planned, tough adjustment coming from a school district with 3 AP classes (literature) and no weighted GPA - freshman year finished with a 2.0. Switched to finance, brought cumulative up to graduate with a 3.44. Finishing prereqs right now then taking MCAT in June. Stats below:

cGPA: (after prereqs) 3.38ish - 3.4ish
sGPA: about 3.06
MCAT: not taken yet but 496 diagnostic
Home health aide experience
Will work as patient care assistant upon graduation
Business research experience in healthcare operations
Volunteer through student org and at a hospital
Have shadowed 5 DOs

I think I have been trying to do too much this semester so wont finish with any A's (started research, volunteer at a hospital, home health aide, shadowing, leadership in student org all while taking ochem 2, biochem, physics 2, ochem 2 lab. I realize my sGPA is low but I have scheduled a human bio course, bioethics, anatomy and medical terminology (not sGPA) to help bring it up. May also add microbiology. I have some connections through LECOM, UNECOM and OUHCOM. I go to Ohio State and live in the Columbus area, so I would really love to stay in this area and go to OU - Dublin. I took a tour an absolutely loved it.

Not sure what my chances really are, so if anyone had any advice on how to improve stats or what schools to look at, it would be much appreciated!

Your chances are dependent on your MCAT score. Do not take the MCAT until your practice scores are consistently over 500. You also need to keep your sGPA above 3.0 . Post your MCAT score here when available in the future.
