You could also try some MD schools and as a NY resident apply to SUNY Upstate and SUNY Buffalo. Also New York Medical College, Albany, Quinnipiac and Hackensack.

Thank you Faha for the response! I’m really nervous though about my new score 🙁 like I am proud of the improvement but I’m nervous I’ll just get screened out of every DO school. Do you think I’ll have a shot at interviews? Do you think if I’m able to get all my secondaries in by July will make a difference?

You will not be screened out at any DO schools with a MCAT of 506 and your GPA of 3.55 .
