I’m very interested in attending a heavily research based school (Pitt, Case, Tufts, etc.)

3.97 cGPA, 3.96 sGPA
ORM, PA resident
524 MCAT (131/131/132/130)
attended large R1 public school as a biology major with comp sci and chemistry minors
clinical: 1200 hours paid (EMT, CNA), 400 hours volunteer (hospital and medical trip abroad)
research: 1500 hours (chem and bio basic science labs), 5 posters, 3 pubs (first author, second author, fourth author)
non-clinical volunteer: 700 hours (crisis line, food pantry)
leadership: TA, exec of 2 orgs, ambassador for school
shadowing: 200 hours, 10 specialties (most surgical specialties + family med, emergency med, neurology)
other: artistic endeavor, pre-med frat

Good job improving your non-clinical experience (based on what your new profile says; the rest is up to your application). My basic question is what you want to be doing as a physician in balancing research and clinic? Any role models?
