My advice is to save your money on the masters and just pay to re-take the pre-req courses at a cc that are weighing down your GPA (it may be worth skipping the next cycle to do this, gain more experience and not waist your money just to potentially get rejected again if your GPA has not changed much). Then, strategically apply to the schools that let you replace courses. Many people get a masters degree, do well, and assume schools will be happy with that GPA, but realistically they care most about the pre-req courses. Anyone that has their GPA as a weaker part of their application should research each school's process on GPA calculation / what GPA's they look at it because it can vary a lot! I don't think it would be wrong for your to apply again this cycle if that is what you want to do if you're not going to get a masters degree, but just use your money and time strategically. 🙂
