Ok so first let me say that I still have an interview coming up this Tuesday at SIU (I'm a southern IL resident). Let me also add that I had an interview with SLU but was rejected (which is utterly heartbreaking because this was my dream school and I absolutely love STL; I grew up right next door). These two schools are the only ones I have received IIs from thus far. I'm already thinking about what I might do if SIU rejects me-- I would reapply (obviously). I'm wondering if anyone knows what my chances are at SLU as a reapplicant, ESPECIALLY if I get tons of service work in STL (specifically downtown and underserviced areas).
