What should I do as a reapplicant to medical school and was previously waitlisted post-interview at OUWB? Others have gotten interviews and rejections who were complete at the same time as me but its radio silence for me. Anyone have any advice?

Stats:
3.8 cum undergrad
3.6 science gpa
4.0 graduate GPA
507 MCAT

I have already gotten into 3 DO schools and am interviewing at 6 others, however, would really prefer attending an MD school. What are my chances/ anyone have any school recommendations? This is my list so far:

Albany Medical College
Central Michigan University
Columbia University (currently attending graduate school here)
Drexel University
Frank H Netter: Quinnipiac U (this was my undergrad institution)
Howard University SOM
University of Buffalo
Medical College of Wisconsin
Meharry Medical College
Michigan State College of Human Medicine
Morehouse School of Medicine
Northeast Ohio Medical University
Oakland University
Rush Medical College
SUNY Upstate
University of Toledo
University of Kansas SOM
University of Louisville
University of South Carolina
Wright State University
Rutgers
SUNY Downstate
Tufts University
University of Miami (strong ties)

I'm confused.

Are you from a URM community ? Where is your state of residence ?
What are your ECs and hours ?
ORM, currently live in CT as of recently but grew up in NY. I have tons of clinical, research and community service experience:
Clinical 1000+ scribing, shadowing, pharm tech
Research 600+ global health research trips to various developing countries
Community service 2000+ English language exchange programs, targeting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in underserved populations, etc

Just to make a few things

You have several schools on your list that are unrealistic for various reasons, Howard, Meharry and Morehouse mainly admit applicants from the African American community. Central Michigan, Michigan State, Northeast Ohio, Wright State, Toledo, Kansas, South Carolina, Rutgers admit very few (if any) non residents with a MCAT of 507 and no connection to the state.
You could add these schools:
NOVA MD
Tulane
TCU
Creighton
Rosalind Franklin
Eastern Virginia
Virginia Commonwealth
George Washington
Temple
Penn State
Hackensack
Vermont

Really not much you can do but wait patiently. But the good news is that you are going to be a doctor. Congratulations.
Thank you! You don't recommend reaching out to the school asking how to make myself stand out as an applicant?

Haven’t you applied this cycle? Your application is submitted. If you don’t stand out now I’m not sure what you are going to do to buff up your current application. Are you not going to accept one of your DO acceptances if you don’t get a MD acceptance ?
